How to be a good math teacher for primary school students?

I. Behavioral habits

Behavioral habits include many. As a class teacher, we should learn from the class teacher, pay attention to cultivating students' good habits, form educational synergy, and cultivate students into educated people.

1. etiquette. Being polite will make others look at you with new eyes, which represents a person's quality. Usually, the teacher does it by himself, and at the same time, students are required to say hello when they meet the teacher. Polite expressions such as please, thank you, sorry and never mind are often used with classmates. Specifically, you can give students a live demonstration to let them know the basic etiquette. Of course, it is not excluded that students already have such literacy, but unified requirements must be made.

2. Hygiene. Personal hygiene, collective hygiene, how to sweep the world without sweeping a house? The quality of personal hygiene will make others feel different about your personal evaluation. A person dresses neatly every day, and his hands and face are clean. No matter how you look, you can always give people an inner nobility. However, if a person is not neatly dressed and his hands and face are not clean every day, no matter how beautiful you are, you will not be recognized by others, but you will feel that this person is inaccessible. Therefore, we should pay attention to personal hygiene, change clothes frequently, wash our faces and brush our teeth on time every day, keep a simple memory and enhance our personal cultivation.

Collective hygiene is based on personal hygiene, and people who pay attention to personal hygiene will definitely keep their neighborhood clean and tidy. Of course, the floor, tables and chairs need to meet certain sanitary standards, and the class teacher needs to demonstrate how to do it, teach the students and then do it by them.

3. discipline. Discipline is the guarantee of study. Without good discipline, it will affect the formation of study and habits. Therefore, we should start from not being late for class and arrive at the classroom 1 minute in advance for each class. In order to form a habit, we might as well make rules first and then implement them. Don't talk nonsense in class. If you have any questions, you can raise your hand. I'll give you time to speak, but you can't talk nonsense or have a small meeting below. When I say "class", I will shout "Stand up" and "Hello, teacher". I will say "Hello, classmate" and then start the class. When I say "class is over", I want to shout "Stand up", "Goodbye to the teacher" and I want to say "Goodbye to the students". Although these are the most basic things, some teachers may not care. No matter what students are doing in class, they will start talking when they step onto the platform. The students are not ready yet. Naturally, it takes a while to stand up when you enter the learning state. Actually, the teacher is announcing that I'm going to class. Everyone should be prepared. A seemingly small link has a great effect.

Second, study habits

In the new grade one, I want students to learn to preview, preview, listen, speak, do homework, correct mistakes, read and write in my math class.

Seeing this, I know that students need the joint efforts of teachers and students if they want to learn a subject well. Teacher, no matter how high your teaching level is, as long as students develop good study habits, they will develop well.

1. Learn to prepare

I have seen students in many classes have a pile of things on their desks during class, and then put their math textbooks on these messy books or notebooks and start listening. Every time I see this situation, I feel very uncomfortable. How can a student who can't even clean up his desk be clear-headed and quick-thinking? So in my class, preview is the first step.

In my math class, the first step is to tidy up my desk, and then take out math-related items: math textbooks, exercise books, calculus books, basic training, stationery (three-colored pens, red, black or blue, pencils, erasers, rulers, compasses). Even if you don't use it, you should always keep it, just like a compass. When all these things are ready and put in the upper right corner of the desk, I will start my class.

2. Learn to preview

Self-study ability is a lifelong skill that one should cultivate. It is never too old to learn. In this era, your only competitive advantage is to learn faster than others. Therefore, to cultivate students' self-study ability, we should start with learning to preview.

Long-term teaching experience tells me that most students' autonomous learning ability is very poor, and the reason for the poor is very clear, that is, no one is training, especially in the lower grades, and students' autonomous learning ability has not been discovered. In junior high school, students should learn to teach themselves.

I will spend a week teaching students how to preview, and learning to read textbooks is the first step, because as long as I can understand and learn the knowledge in textbooks, my grades there will not be bad. So in the first formal class (because the first class will not talk about new lessons, so the rules will be made first), then I will let the students read the textbooks with me, and then tell them what problems to solve, what problems to think about, what not to do, what questions have no ideas, and where to write the answers. Reading a book a hundred times is self-evident. Only by reading textbooks can we learn new knowledge.

3. Learn to listen to lectures

Taking classes is also a technical job. If you can attend class, you can master the essentials and learn knowledge in class. If you can't attend classes, study incompletely and have no knowledge at all, you will increase your investment in learning energy and form learning resistance.

First of all, we should realize the importance of each lesson, because each lesson plays an important role in the knowledge system. Only by learning each lesson well can we form a knowledge system and lay a foundation for the following students.

Secondly, we should apply the teacher's teaching style, rhythm, and the handling of important and difficult points. After a few classes, it is necessary to grasp clearly, so as to adjust the frequency of class notes and questions.

Finally, we should write down the key knowledge and doubts in each class so that we can review them after class or find a teacher to solve them.

The quality of attending classes directly affects the quality of learning. The quality of attending classes depends on whether you can attend classes or whether you are good at attending classes. So we should teach students how to listen to lectures.

Step 4 learn to speak

Speaking in class is a manifestation of students' positive thinking and an important means to deal with doubts in time. Under normal circumstances, there will be a teacher's questioning session in class. If students can actively participate in teachers' questions, it will greatly promote the improvement of learning effect. In class, we should keep up with the teacher's rhythm. If you encounter problems that you can't solve, you should put forward your own difficulties when the teacher asks questions, or raise your hand at the end of a link and ask the teacher to help us solve them.

5. Learn to do homework

My requirement for homework is that the handwriting can be bad, but it must be clean and tidy, and the handwriting should be clear. Try not to change it, otherwise it will be rewritten. Students' plasticity is very strong, and strict requirements will make students form good habits. There should be a line in the middle of the book, and write it left and right after writing. From the first time, we should pick out good homework and bad homework, good praise and evaluation, bad criticism and rewriting.

Learn to read

The concept of reading is relatively broad. I'm going to recommend some books to students from interesting math books first, so that students can form a good habit of reading, which will not deviate too much from the subject of mathematics and broaden their knowledge horizons. Interesting books such as Qian Qian the Dog 1 and Romance in Mathematics and Physics are more suitable for freshmen. I will exchange my reading experience in the self-study class and praise the students who read carefully.

7. Learn to write

I have always had an idea that students should write notes on math test papers. For so many years, it has never been implemented. Starting from this year's classmates, starting from writing, starting from the thinking of a wrong question, the generation process of a method, and various methods of a problem, you don't need professional writing, just write your own ideas. Reading and writing are the most important ways to make progress. I should teach my students to learn these methods so that they can benefit for life in the future.
